Dragon Archers is an ever-growing, friendly club on Teesside with members who shoot
for both pleasure and competition. We are open to all archers who are Grand National Archery Society (GNAS) affiliated
members (please ring to let us know if you want to come along to a session and bring your GNAS card with you), and if you would like to take up
archery for the first time we also run 6-week beginners' courses twice a year.
We shoot at Newlands School, Middlesbrough (more information on the sessions page) and
currently have approximately 40 members shooting with us regularly. If you would like to ask any questions about the club please visit the
forum or feel free to contact us
via email or telephone.

Open To All
Anyone over the age of 10 years can apply for membership or take a beginners' course with us, although juniors must be accompanied
by an adult at all times. If you would like to take a beginners' course and feel that you may have to adjust the way you shoot due to a
disability, please feel free to discuss this with our coaches at any time.
In terms of the styles of archery we take part in, our members use a wide range of bows (including Olympic style recurve bow, longbow, flatbow,
Korean traditional bow and compound bow) for Target Archery during practice sessions and in competitions, and attend Field Archery
and Clout competitions in addition.
We are affiliated to the GNAS and Durham and
Northumberland Archery Association (DNAA), and have links with the National Field Archery Society (NFAS).
